But will it be on tap in Crozet? From the Washington Times : The Thomas Jefferson Foundation says it’s working with Starr Hill Brewery in Crozet to offer Monticello Reserve Ale, inspired by what was produced and consumed regularly at Monticello. Brewing beer was among the plantation’s important activities, and the beer was one of the “table liquors” served with meals. Monticello Reserve Ale is made from a combination of lightly hopped wheat and corn.

…This is the part where I beg a government or journalism student at Western Albemarle High school to attend this meeting and write a story for RealCrozetVA … after four years of asking, I’m thinking I shouldn’t hold my breath.
Update on Status of Crozet Projects
Thanks to Tim Tolson for putting this together.
This is an update from Trevor Henry, Capital Program Manager in the County’s Office of Facilities Development.
He met with the Project Manager’s (PMs) on the various Crozet Projects (Library/Main Street – Ron Lilley; Crozet Ave/Utilities – Jack Kelsey; Storm Water – Gregor Patsch) and assembled the attached update. I have also posted this update, along with the still current October 2008 drawing of the planned improvements for StreetScape II, in our CCAC bulletin board in the Crozet Post Office.

Food Drive at Western
Via email: Western is currently running a food drive in support of WAHS Senior, Nicole Muller’s national food drive initiative, Neighbors-4-Neighbors. … The food drive will end next week and it would great to show our community the giving spirit that is so much a part of our school. If every student contributes just one can of food (more would be great), the food bank will receive over 1000 cans of food from the WAHS student body. That will help tremendously at a time when donations are low, yet the need for the food assistance provided by the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank remains high.
So, Is the New Road to be Named “Peach Street”?
Just wondering.
