I commented noting that density is great, *but* should be done so that people can get places *without* getting in cars, & we have infrastructure for bike/ped transportation.

On to the budget update from Ann.

“It’s a horrifying large number” –

Millions more than when she joined the board. Higher population, the higher the cost. We have 20K more people than in 2008.

One of our biggest burdens is the ability to hold onto staff.
