SUMMER READING CHALLENGE: To participate in the Challenge, pick up a challenge sheet at the library, do 5 of the (super easy) challenges, and get a prize: for adults it’s a free book! Each 5 challenges you do is another chance at the grand prize: a Kindle Fire tablet. There are 3 challenge sheets over the course of the summer, so you can get up to three prize books!
Going on a trip over the summer (or anytime)? You can get Lonely Planet travel guides on your phone, eReader, or tablet through JMRL’s Freading app with your library card, we have downloadable audiobooks to listen to in the car or plane, and if you just aren’t into downloadables, you can always take a book from our paperback exchange station – which you don’t have to return, and don’t have to worry about getting sandy.
