A few stories from this month’s Crozet Gazette (don’t neglect to pick up a copy at one of our local stores!)
- Tom Loach is retiring at Planning Commissioner. Tom’s position will be filled by CCAC chair Jennie Laferty More, who will be joining her father, Mac Lafferty on the Planning Commission.
- Two Large Residential Projects Go Before CCAC Dec. 16 — at some point, I suspect the County is going to have to address new neighborhoods’ impact on schools, roads, and other infrastructure concerns. Maybe.
- Crozet Elementary Teachers Focus on Project-Based Learning at VMI STEM Conference — very cool, and not solely because they went to my alma mater.
- Piedmont Place gets smaller.
- Crozet Christmas Tree shines again. Another example of how awesome the Crozet community is.
- Back to Fitness: Cycling Mecca – if you don’t know about the Miller School Endurance Cycling Team, this is a great introduction.
