Construction update for the Crozet Streetscape Project -2/10/2014: ? Linco, the project contractor, began mobilizing their equipment and materials last week to the project site, and they have started stake-out and tree clearing activities.
Motorists should expect lane closures on Crozet Avenue intermittently over the next two weeks as construction is in process. Lane closures (barring an emergency) can only take place on weekdays between 9AM to 3PM, and one lane of travel will be maintained during any closure with the use of flaggers to direct traffic.
The project groundbreaking, which will signal the beginning of significant construction, is scheduled for the last week of February, details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
