Thanks for putting up the flags!
Update from the comments:
“Thanks go to Mike Marshall who paid to have the Crozet crest flags made, and Karl Pomeroy and Mike who put the flags on the poles yesterday in preparation for the CVFD parade” and Allie notes “The Crozet Gazette had the Crozet flags made and we will have a few of them for sale, contact us for details. We love Crozet!”
Thanks go to Mike Marshall who paid to have the Crozet crest flags made, and Karl Pomeroy and Mike who put the flags on the poles yesterday in preparation for the CVFD parade tomorrrow (July 6) at 4PM!
The only flag that has any relevance to a fourth of July event is the flag of the United States. Anything else is just childish nonsense.
Pffft.
…well, technically the celebration wasn’t ON the 4th. It really was a wonderful event. My daughter was SO excited to see fireworks for the first time so close! Thanks so much again to all that made it happen.
Love those Crozet flags! Flags displays on the Fourth of July show “pride of place” both in our country and our town.
Sorry, Crozet is not a town. It is an unincorporated community.
A made up thing hung from a pole does not equate with a national
flag on a national holiday. If people really want town status for Crozet there is a way to go and make it happen. Then you could
actually vote in a official flag…
I’ll take “community” unincorporated or not! Yay, Crozet! Yay, USA!
Thank you to the Crozet Gazette for all their work with this wonderful community celebration- makes me super excited to be moving here!!!!
Thank you, Amanda! And we are happy to welcome you.
