Thanks for your patience, your friendliness, your helping-each-other-out, for (mostly) treating the stoplights that are out as four-way stops and for not freaking out about a bit of power outage. That being said, I’d really like to have power back soon.
Dominion Power is pretty active on Twitter, by the way.
Jim, Dom Power phoned me to say power is on @ Parkside Village.
Must be a glitch in their system. We don’t. And there are still a couple generators running in the neighborhood.
I nearly cried when I heard the compressor kick on. It was 11pm. My gratitude went out the the people slogging through poison ivy, ticks, snakes and heat to get the power restored. Thank you for what you do. Thank you thank you thank you.
…and speaking of generators. While I was trying to sleep in my hot sticky house, the only sound was that of neighbor’s generators. So, I am ticked because your noise is keeping me awake. Secondly, the sickly generator down the street is making a cacophony of noise. Please neighbors, if you are going to run a generator, at least make sure they are well tuned so the rest of us don’t have to listen to the racket.
