The Crozet Gators Car Wash is happening this Saturday, June 16 at the Dairy Queen from 10-12 noon. Swim team car washes are a ton of fun. We have seen it all in the past few years… motorcycles, buses, 18 wheelers, horse trailers with the horses in them.
Tell your friends and family we don’t discriminate… if it needs washing and you are willing to make a donation, we will give it our best shot! Help support your local swim team and have a lot of fun doing it! We did $500 last year–let’s beat that number this year! The CGST annual car wash is an important event each summer with all proceeds go directly to support swim team operations. If you would like to participate by washing cars (parents/kids) or waving signs to passing drivers (kids), please plan to arrive at 9:30 am. We also welcome car washing equipment and supplies such as spray nozzles, hoses, buckets, sponges, soap, wash rags, towels.
CGST is a volunteer parent run organization which relies on the active participation of parents, swimmers and coaches to be successful. The Gators are totally funded by registration fees and fundraising efforts. The team is responsible for paying the coaching staff, lifeguards, swim meets and other functions, JSL fees, pool fees, swim team equipment (lane lines, kickboards, pace clocks, etc.) banquet costs, awards and many other miscellaneous items.
