15 Year Old Dies After Being Hit by Car near Harris Teeter
I don’t know what else to say other than I am so sorry and sad for Yunze Sun’s family.

The Daily Progress reports that the accident happened around 9:15pm on Friday.

Update 19 July 2011: from an email from WAHS:
The Counseling Department will provide counseling for any student who would like to receive these services tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20) from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M. at the school. Students should simply come to the school and report to the School Counseling Office.
A Memorial Service to honor James will be held in the WAHS auditorium on Saturday, July 23, at 4 P.M. The family is working on plans for this service, but is most interested in providing an opportunity for friends, classmates, and school staff to offer reflections about James.

Harris Teeter Pharmacy Opening in September

“This Saturday, July 9, we will be working on part of the future Crozet Greenway. We will meet at Crozet Park near the picnic pavilions at 8:30am. There will be two options:
1. Bring your workgloves and clear seasonal vegetation from the trail we built last fall, widen the trail where necessary (treadwork), and discuss low-cost options for a creek crossing @ Lickinghole Creek.
2. Bring your mountain bike and explore some possible options for the Crozet Trails Day 5k trail run (and perhaps future Greenway route).
Saturday July 16th- Workday at Byrom Park, north of White Hall. I will post more information on the website about it soon (www.crozettrailscrew.org)
And we will likely have a workday on Saturday, July 23rd, possibly partnering with a Scout troop or two. More info on that to come.”
