Crews Tuesday cleared trees in the path of the future road. The lanes are currently narrow with no curbs or sidewalks, which residents say is a dangerous combination. Construction will correct those problems, widening the lanes to 12 feet and adding a four-foot wide bike lane on each side and sidewalks on the northern portion of the road.
