From the Henley Matters listserv:
A group of 8th graders is collecting gently used summer clothes and shoes to help the children of Colombia, South America, who have been affected by recent floods. Our family will be traveling to Colombia for the holidays and the items collected will be distributed through different local institutions. This project not only helps those affected by the weather conditions, but it also helps 8th grade students fulfill their community service requirement. Donated items can be brought to school and placed in the box on the lobby labeled “Comfort for Colombia.” For more information, please read the attached flyer. Thanks for your help and generosity!
