For those of you who want to get out there and work on trails, we will be meeting next Saturday morning, April 24th, at 8:30am at Beaver Creek Resevoir. We will either work on the former Henley Hornets trail at the resevior, or we will go up to Byrom Park to help Dan prepare for the Bio Blitz.
I will let you know which project we will be working on as next weekend approaches. Either way, it will be a morning of good company, hard work, nature appreciation, and personal fulfilment. What more could you want from a Saturday morning?
Contact Jessica for more details or to be added to the email list.
Hope to see you there!
Update:
Good morning Crozet Trail Team!
Regarding this Saturday, I am hoping that the rain holds off for a few hours in the morning so that we can tackle the trails. However, if it is raining, we will not meet.
Thinking optimistically of dry skies and cool weather, let’s meet at 8:30 at Beaver Creek Resevior. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your tools (if you have some, but we will provide some as well). As of now, both projects (Resevoir trail and Byrom Park) are options for Saturday morning. We will see how many folks show up, what they feel like working on, and what the weather looks like.
I hope to see many of you on Saturday, and if not, we will have another workday coming up soon.
Thanks for posting this, Jim. As a token of my appreciation, if you show up for a trail work day, I’ll let you use a super-fun fire rake and I’ll keep you off Poison Ivy Removal detail. 🙂
