Is it finished? I like the natural look of the wood, but understand the red color like Crozet Pizza is part of the renovation. Too bad, although it might be more protective for the wood to be painted.
To make the row more aesthetically pleasing, perhaps Crozet Pizza should have a gable roof to match the two neighbors. The lavender color on Bark Place seems “out-of-place” now.
I think….for the love of Claudius, please don’t cover that bright, beautiful wood with dark red paint.
How long do you think untreated wood will stay looking that way?
They should cover it with something but, who are we to say??
